In a saturated hip hop market where the female MC is a minimal percent of the contribution, Sha’Mia comes as a breath of fresh air. Her unique and demanding delivery implies that she knows that there hasn’t been a queen on the throne for some time and she wants the industry to acknowledge her bid. Her debut mixtape “Money Ova Niggas” hosted by DJ E Dub has gained the interest of many industry big wigs and the 15 track project was a great display of what she had to offer the game. She recently shared the stage with Love and Hip Hop star and recording artist, Chink Santana, at Apple Lounge in Washington, DC where she proved to be polished in live performance as well. She is currently promoting her two singles “Drunk Remix” featuring Yung Sinn & Flossy, and “Boss Bitch” featuring Yung Sinn which are both available for download on sites such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc.
If you thought that Sha’Mia was just a pretty face and killer MC, you would be wrong. She is also Founder and CEO of her own company, First Lady of the Streets, LLC. I know what your thinking, she just may be the female equivalent to Shawn Carter or Sean Combs. You may see her shouting out F.A,M.O.B Movement alongside her better half Yung Sinn and fellow family members because artistry runs in the bloodline. She is currently working on her sophomore studio recorded project, “Money Ova Niggas vol. 2” and let me tell you that she has no plans of slowing up any time soon. Sha’Mia will show and prove that she is here to claim her spot as a monumental piece of today’s hip hop market, I suggest you jump on board now!
Dayton, Ohio rapper Yung Sinn is destined to have a rapidly rising career. In the early 2000’s he appeared on popular local/Regional projects released by Ohio based recording labels Streetlight Entertainment & Beatcity Productionz. From the moment he indulged in the craft at the age of 6, he had a way of painting vivid pictures of the struggles and triumphs that came with growing up in the streets and what was needed in order to overcome the poverty and distress. This year alone Yung Sinn has made cameos on his better half, Sha’Mia’s, “Drunk Remix” & “Boss Bitch” singles, which are starting to get major circulation and airplay in many U.S. markets and can be purchased for download on may major websites (iTunes, Spotify, etc.). His distinctive, unfiltered, witty delivery and his clever but hard-hitting rhymes will also be featured on a track from Aryginal & E.M.B’s Ground Breaking album set to release April 2015.
Sinn comes from a huge family of hip hop musicians who’s careers are running parallel with each other, they are known as the F.A.M.O.B. Movement. Sinn will be the first to tell you that he does this for the streets. As he so eloquently puts it, he’s not a rapper, he’s a real nigga. As he prepares for the release of his solo independent mixtape, Sincity vol. 3: Dayton Stand Up one thing is for sure, if you are in the market for high quality street anthems and testimonies then Yung Sinn is who you should be checking for in today’s hip hop market.
